How I Store My Makeup!

Evening folks, I hope you're all enjoying the first full week of 2015. Being back at school was definitely a kick up the backside for both me and my motivation as I've suddenly realized that I have a million things to do before I leave for South Africa in a month tomorrow! This includes sitting some rather annoying exams, and actually ensuring I have everything sorted for SA. I had a bit of a clear out of my room over the Christmas holidays and so I thought I'd show you guys how I store my make-up. I don't have the space to have a dressing table covered in Muji drawers, but I do have a nice IKEA bed-side table that I now use to keep all my make-up, nail and skincare things in!

Let's dive in!

The top shelf holds most of my 'everyday makeup' as well as some other random bits that have since been tidied away (like the Christmas decorations!)

Next we have a couple of old Glossyboxes that I use to store any spare stuff that is getting pretty tatty. I also end up stuffing nail polishes, and skincare into these too! These will be my next job in terms of sorting them out.

I store all of my everyday makeup in an old Benefit 'suitcase' type thing, it's really tatty now and covered in swatches of products and marks in general.

I also have a few more other make-up items that I tend to use quite a lot, I'm really loving my Naked Basics palette just now!

My Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette is also stored on this shelf, I did a little review on it that I'll link here!

This little make-up bag contains most of my makeup brushes, but my current foundation has also sneaked it's way in there too! This was a Christmas present, and I think it's very pretty!

Now down to the second shelf, which is slightly thinner than the rest- and therefore tends to have less stuff on it!
One of the things I do keep here however, is one of my many different hidey-holes for jewellery.

As you can see this has some of my less 'fancy' or chunky jewellery, and the stuff I don't use very often!

Now onto my favourite box, my lip products. I have a major obsession with lip products, and whilst this is nowhere near the full collection- this is pretty much everything I use all the time!

There were also some extra things kicking about on shelf two, including my Primark face wipes (which I only use in the most desperate of situations) and some old Estee Lauder palettes!

Now for the bottom shelf, at the front there is a bunch of skincare stuff that I use almost all the time.

Behind that there is a grand total of five Glossyboxes full of random make-up products!

I actually stopped my Glossybox subscription last month but there was a couple of really cool limited edition boxes, including this pop at one, and a Karen Millen one!

Here is the grand variety of nonsense that I'm keeping in these boxes!

Most of the stuff in this box is old Glossybox skincare that I don't use often, as well as a back-up packet of face wipes!

In the next box is my Benefit Cabana Glama kit, which I used to use all the time- and also some old skincare stuff.

This next one got the majority of the stuff from the top shelf, including most of the nail polish I got for Christmas, a nail brick file, and some other random nonsense!

And another box with some makeup, skincare and some hair stuff too!

The final box contains most of my old foundations, that I'm keeping either because there's a little bit left or because there is a little bit left in the bottle or because I loved it and wanted to know the shade if I ever buy another bottle!

Here's the stuff from the front of the shelf, my L'oreal Miscellar Water is in the top right, which I use with my Nuxe Creme Fraiche moisturiser (in the bottom left) to keep my skin looking not too shabby!

Clockwise from bottom right; St Moriz Self Tan, Hollister Body Spray, L'oreal Miscellar Water, Toni and Guy Heat Defense Spray, Ren Facial Scrub, Vaseline Aloe Vera Lotion, Nuxe Oil, L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tan, Nuxe Creme Fraiche Moisturiser, Soap+Glory Smoothie Star Body Milk, Urban Decay De-slick setting spray, Superdrug Tea Tree face mask, Soap and Glory Rightous Butter!
There you have it, have a lovely evening folks and I'll see you on Thursday!
